Hello Visitor,
What a lovely first full week we have had.
The children have settled well and are learning all the new routines as well as learning all the staff names and having lots of fun with new friends. The Nursery is looking amazing with lots of new furniture and resources that have made it a calming but exciting and inviting environment for children to learn and feel safe. We would like to say a big thank you to The Friends of the School for enabling this to happen.
Please click here to download the letter about our Christmas trip on 10th December. Please let us know if you are coming as we need to confirm with the farm as soon as possible. It is such a great day out. Any questions, please catch a member of the Nursery team.
Please remember to name coats, jumpers and cardigans as the children can never remember which clothes are theirs! This also applies to lunch box containers and drink bottles. We have already had some mix ups over drinks and lunches. We still have a small round container with no name, unclaimed.
Children are settling into the lunchtime routines quite well but some are finding that they do not have enough time to eat everything in their lunchbox as we have a limited time to eat. We respectfully ask that you do not overfill lunchboxes. A polite reminder that grapes can be a choking hazard and we politely request that you cut them in half before sending in a lunchbox, in line with advice from NHS. Also we are a NO NUT establishment due to allergies in school.
On home visits we mentioned about providing a box of tissues and a voluntary contribution of £30 for the year or £5 per term. If you haven’t done this yet and are able to, please send into to office or hand in at Nursery.
Don’t forget to log onto Tapestry as we will be adding things on there more from next week. We have a few parents that have not clicked on the link in a recent email regarding permissions for photos. This will only take you a few minutes to do and then we can start putting some photos on Tapestry.
Thank you for your continued support and we are so looking forward to the exciting year ahead.
